About Emmanuel Kyndt
Emmanuel Kyndt was born in Belgium and has worked as an Aeronautical Engineer for almost 20 years.
His passion for photography began with a print hung in his grandparent's living room, and has grown ever since. It wasn’t until he met his wife, that the thought of being a full-time photographer became a reality.

Norfolk, The West of Ireland and West-Flanders are just a few of the local areas which continue to draw him back. The focus of the landscape is around light and shadows and how they alter perceptions, especially as the seasons change.
ARTIST STATEMENT
His images convey the mood of the scene and appeal to the senses of the viewers. This is achieved through capturing a moment, as opposed to merely taking a picture.
His aim is for his viewers to see his photographs as he sees them through the lens, and to be able to consider the larger reality that contributes to his photographs. In short, he wants people to look at his photographs and see their own reality.
Emmanuel’s images are cropped and retouched as and when required, but are not otherwise altered in any way. The scene is not artificially lit or arranged, he only uses the scene in front of him and the natural light available.
His goal is to observe and frame, rather than create and compose.
